Course objectives
The objective of this qualification is to provide an understanding of the nutritional requirements for a healthy diet, the effect of diet on health, and the importance of hydration. These principles are then applied to fulfilling the dietary requirements for physical activity and sport.
Assessment:
Written assignment
Attainment of the Learning Outcomes for the unit will be assessed by assignment. The assignment will be provided by RSPH and internally marked by the center, Care in training CIC. Center marks will be subject to external verification by RSPH. In order to obtain a Pass candidates must be able to demonstrate that they have achieved the learning outcomes for the unit.

You are free to work through this course at your own pace and in your own time. Once you are ready to submit your completed coursework, to Care in training CIC, you will be registered with RSPH examinations.
Requirements
To enroll in this course you must be 18-years-old or over. It is recommended that learners should have achieved a level of education equivalent to five GCSEs at grades A*-C however exemptions may be made for adult returners with relevant experience.
Award
Upon successful completion of this course candidates will be awarded a Level 4 Certificate in Nutrition for Physical Activity and Sport from The Royal Society for Public Health.
